ERP & Data Layer

ERP-to-Power BI Reporting Layer

A clean reporting layer on top of your ERP exports, so every report in finance reads from the same model.

  • Power Query
  • Power BI
  • Data model
  • SQL
  • Healthcare
  • Real estate
  • Retail
  • Manufacturing

The problem

Every report starts from the same ERP export and reshapes it differently. The numbers disagree between reports, the logic lives in formulas nobody wants to touch, and a change to the chart of accounts breaks all of them at once.

What we build

One reporting layer: the exports land once, Power Query cleans them, a star-schema model holds the facts and dimensions, and a shared measure library gives every report the same definitions. Reports become pages on the model instead of workbooks of their own.

What you receive

  • Documented export set from the ERP (what, when, which columns)
  • Power Query layer that cleans and shapes the exports
  • Star-schema data model: facts, dimensions, calendar
  • Measure library your reports share
  • A first report rebuilt on the layer, as the pattern
  • Handover notes so the team can extend it

What we need from you

The exports your team already runs from the ERP, the chart of accounts, and two or three of the reports built from them today.

How it runs

  1. 1 · Understand
  2. 2 · Map
  3. 3 · Build
  4. 4 · Validate
  5. 5 · Train & hand over
