Mizan Manufacturing: The Customer Who Left — Budget, Reforecasts and Actual
Mizan Manufacturing makes household, personal-care, paper and industrial products for about sixty trade customers. You get every sales invoice line from January 2024 to September 2026 with units and prices, the monthly management P&L by account, and eight plan versions - the 2025 and 2026 budgets and March, June and September reforecasts for each year - by month and account. 2025 did not go to plan. Split the revenue gap into volume, price and mix, see what happened to the margin when the volume went and the fixed costs stayed, measure how good each reforecast was, and build the 2026 outlook. The same company appears in the general-ledger set DD-GLT-003.
