Mizan Retail: Stores on Time, on Budget? — Project Management & Project Accounting
Mizan Retail opened six stores and refurbished 11 more between 2023 and 2026, and rolled out a new ERP. You get every project and task with its baseline dates and budget, every invoice the projects paid (the same lines as in the ledger set DD-GLT-003), and every timesheet line of the project team - 52,000 of them. Work out which projects overran and why, how late the stores opened, what the ERP really cost, who is booking hours they should not, and what the portfolio is telling the CFO.
