Restaurant Financial Model with Valuation — Excel Template
A restaurant financial model in Excel that projects a fast-food outlet month by month for five years — units sold per product, prices, cost of sales, operating expenses, fixed assets, a bank loan and the three financial statements that follow from them — and values the business with NPV and a terminal value under three sales scenarios.

What this model does
The example business sells four products — small, regular and large pizza and a zinger burger. Daily sales, monthly growth, prices and unit costs drive revenue and cost of sales for 60 months; packaging, rent and management costs grow at their own rates; an oven, furniture and office equipment depreciate on the diminishing-balance method; and a four-year bank loan carries its own instalment schedule.
Three scenarios — worst, base and best — move price and growth together, so the Summary sheet, the statements and the valuation all switch with one selection. The valuation sheet discounts the cash flows at the rate you set, adds a terminal value and reports the NPV. A month-by-month chart of revenue against total expenses shows when the outlet starts covering its costs.

Frequently asked questions
Which currency does the model use?
The sample inputs are in Pakistani rupees (PKR). The model works in any currency — replace the yellow input cells with your own figures.
Why do I see #NAME? errors?
The model uses XLOOKUP and FILTER, which need Excel 2021 or Microsoft 365. Older Excel versions, Google Sheets and LibreOffice cannot calculate those cells.
Can I add more products?
Yes — sheets are not password protected. Copy a product row on INPUTS and on Sales & COGS, and extend the totals.
